<p>Reporting to the Director of Business Services, we have a tremendous opportunity for an experienced IT Manager. You will lead all aspects of information and communication technology including systems integration, project management and strategy implementation, ensuring delivery of the best technology outcomes for students, staff, parents and the wider College community. </p><p>This mission-critical role is focused on service delivery, security, network and system infrastructure, team management, and driving a culture of service excellence to ensure teaching and learning is technologically supported to the highest educational standards. </p><p><b>Key responsibilities </b></p><ul><li>Effective leadership and development of the IT team to deliver high-quality service demonstrating a service-first, customer focused approach that meets the needs of the College community. </li><li>Monitor and advise on the overall capabilities of the Colleges ICT services and drive continuous improvement to meet the current and future technological needs of the College. </li><li>Lead, schedule and manage the effective delivery of IT major projects (including upgrade and new installations of the network and/or infrastructure) according to agreed priorities and timelines, communicating progress clearly and regularly. </li><li>Manage user accounts, servers, workstations, routers, switches; diagnose faults and problems and carry out remedial action, including repair of servers, liaising with suppliers and their technical teams when required, in order to maintain an effective service. </li><li>Ensure that ICT infrastructure, systems and processes aligns with, and supports the College’s e-learning and innovation objectives. </li><li>Ensure all storage and backup is managed efficiently with minimal business interruption. </li><li>Asset management of all devices including College owned assets and leased assets. </li><li>Monitoring, maintenance and ongoing performance of the infrastructure and all network operating systems, database technologies, cloud services and applications. </li><li>Ensure safe and reliable running of the ICT infrastructure in order that the integrity and security of the network and all information systems. </li><li>Develop and manage the ICT disaster recovery plan to ensure the recovery of all critical systems can occur in a timely manner. </li><li>Negotiation and management of significant contracts and vendor partner relationships. </li></ul><p>You will be able to demonstrate you satisfy the following essential selection criteria: </p><p><b>Essential criteria </b></p><ul><li>A tertiary Information Technology related qualification and/or equivalent experience. </li><li>Proven leadership in the development and delivery of organisation wide IT strategies, systems and services in a dynamic environment. </li><li>Strong people leadership, with experience in leading and managing an ICT team. </li><li>Extensive experience of contemporary client and server technologies, storage, network, security, databases, applications, virtualized environments and cloud services. </li><li>Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language to non-technical staff and end users. </li><li>Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders. </li><li>Proven organisational skills, ability to work under pressure, meet tight timeframes and manage a diverse range of deliverables. </li><li>Experience in ICT project and program management and delivery. </li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills, strong verbal and written communication skills and a capacity to build and maintain effective relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders. </li></ul><p><b>Desirable criteria </b></p><ul><li>Experience in an educational or not-for-profit context. </li></ul><p><b>How to apply </b></p><p>To express your interest in joining our highly motivated professional staff, apply via the online &#39;Career Application&#39; available on our website <a href="https://www.spc.nsw.edu.au/working-spc/" rel="nofollow">https://www.spc.nsw.edu.au/working-spc/</a> </p><p>Your application should consist of: </p><p><b>1.
