<p><b>Location: </b>Cerdon College - Merrylands</p><p>The Catholic Education Diocese of Parramatta is looking for a skilled, contemporary and passionate Leader of Learning (Schools) to be part of our school community and enrich the lives of our students.</p> <p>Teachers within the Diocese are responsible to the Principal and shares in the learning and teaching of subject matters to students of the school community. Teachers are responsible for delivering high quality contemporary learning and teaching for the community they serve which is embedded in the Catholic world view. It is a collaborative ministry of witness and service and part of the evangelising mission of the Church.</p> <p>This is an opportunity for an experienced Leader of Learning (CAPA) to join a high performing team in an environment where professional growth is promoted.</p> <p><strong>Key focus areas</strong></p> <p>The Leader of Learning (CAPA Co-ordinator) will fit the following criteria:</p> <p>-Support and implement the goals and values of Catholic education and the strategic priorities of the School.</p> <p>-Demonstrate the highest levels of personal and professional integrity.</p> <p>-Be committed, passionate and knowledgeable about teaching and learning of their subject area.</p> <p>-Be involved in the selection and induction of new staff</p> <p>-Drive the pedagogical vision of the School within the broader educational life of the School.</p> <p>-Lead staff with vision, purpose and a strong commitment to excellence.</p> <p>-Promote and understand the importance of assessment practice, data analysis and feedback to enhance learning.</p> <p>-Prepare students for changing demands of a global community.</p> <p>-Establish a positive relationship with students, their families and the broader community.</p> <p>-Expertise in Music an advantage.</p> <p><strong>The Organisation</strong></p> <p dir="ltr">Catholic Education Diocese of Parramatta provides quality learning and teaching in a faith-centred environment across 83 primary and secondary schools and within early learning and out of school hours care centres in Western Sydney.&nbsp;</p> <p dir="ltr">This position involves working with children. The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child-related employment including the completion of a National Police Check, retention of a valid Working with Children Check and adoption and compliance with CEDP’s Child Safeguarding Procedures and Code of Conduct When Working With Students and Children.</p> <p dir="ltr">CEDP promotes the safety and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, and children from culturally and/or linguistically diverse backgrounds.
