We are looking for an enthusiastic, talented professional teacher to inspire students learning Visual Arts. This role is a Temporary part time position commencing in Term 2 2023 for 12 months.

Our curriculum is rich and diverse and we offer learning spaces designed for the 21<sup>st</sup> century learner. The campus is expanding and seeking enthusiastic teachers that can deliver the specific curriculum, amongst other subject areas. More specifically you will:</p> <ul> <li>Reflect the school’s inquiry-based approach to exceptional learning in everyday practice</li> <li>Plan, prepare and deliver quality learning experiences</li> <li>Maintain competency and a current knowledge of relevant curriculum programs</li> <li>Create supportive learning environments and effective behaviour management practices</li> <li>Provide for the physical, social, cultural and emotional wellbeing and safety of students</li> <li>Assist students in becoming effective leaders within their community</li> <li>Maintain student records and samples of work and report on student performance to students, parents and other stakeholders as required</li> <li>Participate in the collaborative development and evaluation of the curriculum and regularly monitor, through observation and evaluation, the effectiveness of the teaching program</li> <li>Participate in co-curricular activities, school decision making processes and professional development</li> </ul> <p><strong>About you:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Inspiring a love of learning in your students</li> <li>Being engaging and innovative</li> <li>Demonstrating a commitment to unleashing the potential of each student</li> <li>Active listening skills and the ability to engage with and builds strong positive relationships with members of the school community including employees, students and parents</li> <li>The ability to cater for students with diverse backgrounds, needs and abilities</li> <li>You maintain industry currency, share your passion for learning and are an expert in your field</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications and accreditations:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Compliance with NSW Child Protection Legislation - Working with Children</li> </ul> <p>Check clearance</p> <ul> <li>Eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)</li> <li>Tertiary Qualification (minimum 4-year degree)</li> <li>Statements of Service</li> </ul> <p><strong>Interested?</strong></p> <p>This position involves working with children.
