The College is seeking to appoint a qualified HSIE teacher (Years 7-12) to start with us in late February/early March 2023. HSIE teachers with any subject specialisation are encouraged to apply. This is a full-time permanent position, although teachers looking for part time work are welcome to apply.

<p><b>The College</b><br /></p><p>Rouse Hill Anglican College (RHAC) is a highly regarded independent, co-educational Christian school with over 1600 students from Pre-K to Year 12. The College is located in the Hills District in Sydney’s north west and is committed to a professional, collaborative and supportive workplace for all employees. The College has modern facilities, is very well resourced and can be easily accessed by car or rail. </p><p><b>The Role </b></p><p>We are seeking a qualified HSIE teacher (Years 7-12) to start with us in late February/early March 2023. HSIE teachers with any subject specialisation are encouraged to apply. </p><p>While RHAC would prefer a full-time teacher, teachers looking for part time work are welcome to apply. The College is open to offering a permanent contract to the preferred applicant, although we are also willing to offer a temporary contract. Christians who are actively involved in a church are particularly encouraged to apply. </p><p><b>Teaching &amp; Learning</b><br /></p><p>Construct teaching programs, based on applicable NESA syllabi, that will enable you to:<br /></p><p>● Orchestrate engaging lessons that maximise learning for all students in the class. </p><p>● Effectively teach students with identified needs. </p><p>● Provide meaningful feedback on the academic work students produce in a way that will help them to improve. </p><p>● Achieve strong academic results. </p><p> </p><p><br /></p><p><b>Other Responsibilities </b></p><p>Involvement in College activities and events including: </p><p>● Contributing to the student wellbeing program, including extra-curricular activities and camps. </p><p>● Attending chapel, assemblies and other College activities. </p><p>● Undertaking rostered playground or supervision duties. </p><p>● Attending College events, including parent teacher nights. </p><p> </p><p><br /></p><p><b>The Contract </b></p><p>All teachers at the College are employed under the Independent Schools Standards Model Multi Enterprise Agreement, more commonly known as the MEA.
