Located on the beautiful Far North Coast of NSW. The College has a mission to promote an attitude of excellence among staff and students to provide students with an education in the Catholic tradition within a caring, supportive and disciplined environment where high expectations see students work toward attaining the fullness of life.  We employ over 100 teaching and support staff. Our teaching staff strives to provide dynamic learning opportunities for all students to achieve success. We invite suitably qualified candidates to apply for the following position:   ____________________________________________________________________________________________________ <h3 style="text-align: center">Classroom and Learning Support Aide </h3> Part time temporary position commencing ASAP or for the period (Term 1, 2023) ____________________________________________________________________________________________________ Applicants must:  <ul> <li>hold a valid NSW Working with Children Check</li> <li>comply with the <a href="https://csolismore.schoolzineplus.com/_file/media/2304/accreditation_to_work_teach_lead.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead</a> Policy upon appointment  </li> </ul> Applicants must be able to demonstrate the following criteria:  <ul> <li>a knowledge of and commitment to the Catholic ethos and mission of the school.</li> <li>experience in working with children with special needs, including children on the autistic spectrum</li> <li>awareness of the needs of students with diagnosed allergies and training in the use of EpiPen</li> <li>ability to successfully implement programs and document progress regarding individual and/or small group support</li> <li>preparedness to undergo further training in aiding children with special needs</li> <li>experience in working collaboratively with teaching staff in a classroom environment</li> </ul> Your application should address the above criteria including the nomination of two (2) referees including a Parish Priest, Priest or Minister.
