At Emmaus, we hold every child at the centre of everything we do. We are looking for a passionate and committed Learning Support Officer who loves supporting students with diverse learning needs. This LSO would to be motivated, positive, collaborative and a continuous learner.

<p>At Emmaus we hold the care, safety and wellbeing of children as a central and fundamental responsibility of our school. </p><p>Applicants will believe in supporting the whole child - academically, socially, emotionally, physically and spiritually. They will possess the understandings, skills and ability to implement high expectations for all. The applicant will be positive, flexible and willing to embrace a collaborative approach to learning and supporting all children. They would demonstrate a belief that all children can learn and succeed. </p><p>This position is a 12 month fixed term position to begin as soon as possible. The applicant will be able to work 5 days - Monday to Friday from 8.45 - 3.15. </p><p>Requirements: </p><ul><li>knowledge and skills suited to working with students with diverse needs (recent experience and qualifications in this area are required.</li><li>a willingness to respect the Catholic culture of our school and demonstrate a commitment to Child Safety Practices as outlined in the CECV Commitment Statement and the school&#39;s Child Safety Code of Conduct.</li><li>Working with Children Check</li></ul><p>We may interview before the closing date for the right applicant. </p><p>Special Requirements</p><ul><li>Applicants should include an application letter, Curriculum Vitae including professional referees. </li></ul>
