This position is temporary as it is covering a 9 month period of maternity leave. </p><p>Applicants for this position must be excellent classroom practitioners, dedicated team players, interested in the care and welfare of students, and have skills in their teaching of PDHPE to equip them to contribute to the College’s educational program in teaching and learning. Applicants will also need to be skilled in their use of educational technology in the classroom. This position will allow a creative and passionate teacher to flourish. </p><p>For further information about the role, view the position description <a href="https://rosebank.nsw.edu.au/wp-content/uploads/Subject-Teacher.pdf" rel="nofollow">here</a>.</p><p><br /></p><p> </p><p><b><u>About You </u></b></p><p>The successful candidate will be an outstanding educator who is highly motivated to support Rosebank College to ensure continued academic achievement, by inspiring and developing innovative learning which engages, and values every learner. </p><p>To be considered for this position, you must be a highly dedicated PDHPE Teacher who meets the following criteria: </p><ul><li>Ability to teach PDHPE Stages 4 and 5, Stage 5 elective courses, and 11 SLR </li><li>an ability to create a culture of excellence and high expectation through positive support of the student environment </li><li>an ability to work collaboratively in a team environment </li><li>a sound understanding of current educational research and learning styles, including learning technologies </li><li>Understand and show commitment to the Australian Professional Standards for Teaching. </li><li>Possess proven ability to incorporate modern technologies into their teaching practice and convey passion about classroom innovation </li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills </li><li>Possess a valid Working with Children Check </li><li>A commitment to the child safeguarding principles </li><li>Willingness to support the Catholic ethos and learning culture of the College </li></ul><p><br /></p><p><b><u>The Process </u></b></p><p>If you believe you meet the requirements of this position as listed above, then we would love to hear from you.
