Technology and Applied Studies Workshop Assistant

Part time temporary position commencing 20 February 2023

Applicants must: 

  • have or obtain a valid NSW Working with Children Check.
  • be compliant with the Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead Policy upon appointment.
  • hold a current Drivers license.
  • hold a current Senior First Aid certificate or be willing to obtain one. 

Applicants must be able to demonstrate the following criteria: 

  • Applicants need to be willing and able to participate in and support the religious dimension of St.Agnes' Parish Secondary Schools
  • Capacity and willingness to work as part of a team. 
  • Experience in the trade industry is desirable. 
  • Excellent construction and/or metal skills with the ability to use metal and timber workshop equipment.
  • Excellent physical health and fitness.
  • A professional, confidential, affable, and diplomatic disposition when dealing with staff, students, parents, and visitors.
  • Pride and attention to detail to ensure the highest standard of cleanliness.
  • Ability to work with confidential and personal information with discretion and respect for the dignity of others.
  • Have thorough knowledge of WH&S and the ability to apply related policies.
