Whitefriars College is a Catholic boys school in the Carmelite tradition. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced teacher of Instrumental Music (Guitar) for 0.75-1.0 FTE contract with the College. Whitefriars College is a Child Safe school. <p>Directly responsible to the Learning Leader - Performing Arts and ultimately responsibly to the Principal, the Guitar tutor should be dynamic, suitably qualified and passionate. In addition to duties teaching both contemporary and classical guitar to students from Years 7 to VCE, the role also encompasses accompaniment of students undertaking internally and externally assessed music performance examinations, College performances and the accompaniment of the College choir at Masses and College celebrations. </p><p>The Guitar tutor also takes on the responsibility as an ensemble director for contemporary and classically focused ensembles, is directly responsible to the Learning Leader - Performing Arts and ultimately responsible to the Principal.
