Holy Saviour is seeking an enthusiastic, passionate and creative Learning Support Officer who has a willingness to work and learn collaboratively and collegially as a member of our highly professional team. We are looking for a person who is welcoming and friendly, shows initiative and the ability to be both organised and flexible in the work situation.

<p>Holy Saviour requires the services of a Learning Support Officer. The successful applicant will be required to work two days a week, Monday and Tuesday, from 9:00 am until 3:30pm. This is a fixed term contract until the end of the year. This specific role will be supporting the classroom teacher and assisting the learning needs of our students.</p><p>Holy Saviour is a community of learners, that values strong relationships and has its emphasis on evidence based learning. We require an organised, enthusiastic and positive person to fulfil this role.<br /></p><p>The successful applicant will be expected to work collaboratively with the other LSO’s, the Holy Saviour staff and the Learning Diversity leader.<br /></p><p>The staff at Holy Saviour work hard to ensure the success and growth in learning of all its students. Working as a team, each member ensures that children in their care achieve success.<br /></p><p>The Learning Support Officer (LSO) is appointed by the Principal and works under the supervision of the Learning Diversity Leader and Classroom Teacher. Previous experience is preferable, but not essential. The LSO will work with students with disabilities, impairments or learning difficulties across all areas and all levels.</p><p>The successful applicant will hold a valid Working with Children Check.</p><p><b><i>Holy Saviour Parish Primary School is committed to the safety and wellbeing of all children and young people.
