They are responsible for the complex general accounting and reporting functions of the College, together with compliance reporting and administrative systems. The Finance Manager reports directly to the Business Manager and works collaboratively in supporting members of the Finance Team, to ensure effective and efficient financial services across the College. </p><p><b>Key Responsibilities of the role will include: </b></p><ul><li>Financial Management and Reporting</li><li>Payroll</li><li>Compliance</li><li>Finance Team Support</li></ul><p><b><br /></b></p><p><b>About You </b></p><p>The successful candidate will: </p><ul><li>A bachelor’s degree in accounting/commerce (essential)</li><li>CA/CPA qualification (preferred)</li><li>Demonstrated experience with Synergetic (or similar) student management/finance systems</li><li>Well-developed skills in providing professional advice to staff relevant to leave entitlements, superannuation options, Workcover claims and taxation</li><li>High level of written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate with staff and other members of the College community</li><li>Excellent time management skills with the ability to concurrently manage a number of competing tasks</li><li>Demonstrate initiative and have the flexibility to deal with the unexpected</li><li>The capacity to operate with discretion, respect, trust and diplomacy whilst maintaining confidentiality</li></ul><p>A current WWC check (employee) and National Criminal History Check are essential requirements of this position. </p><p><br /></p><p><b>This position will be Full Time, ongoing, ideally commencing Term 1, 2023. </b></p><p><br /></p><p>If this sounds like the role for you then don’t hesitate, apply online now by clicking the ‘apply’ button. </p><p><b>Applications close on Wednesday 15 February 2023</b><br /></p><p><b><i>*Please do not delay in applying, as applications will be reviewed upon receipt. </i></b></p><p><br /></p><p><i>Kilbreda College is a child safe employer and is committed to the welfare of children and their protection.
