<p><b>St Peter’s Primary school in Epping is seeking a passionate Learning Support Officer to work in our school. </b></p><p>An ongoing position classified under the Victorian Catholic Education Multi Enterprise Agreement 2018 as Education Support Category B. </p><p><b>The hours of employment for this position will be spread over 5 days 9-1.30pm. </b></p><p>Longer days can be negotiated if desired. </p><p><b><u>This position will commence as soon as possible. </u></b></p><p><u><b>KEY SELECTION CRITERIA </b></u></p><p>The successful applicant will: </p><p>demonstrate a passion for working with children. </p><p>demonstrate a capacity to work collaboratively and support the needs of children with a range of learning difficulties. </p><p>demonstrate a willingness and capacity to work with students with learning and/or social-emotional challenges. </p><p>possess a high level of patience and emotional maturity to support students with significant learning or behavioural challenges. </p><p>demonstrate a capacity to play an active role in Program Support Group meetings if required. </p><p>Previous experience will be taken into consideration but is not a prerequisite. </p><p>The successful applicant will be subject to a Working with Children Check and is expected to comply with the school’s Code of Conduct and Child Safe Policy. </p><p>Application Procedure </p><p>The closing date for this position is: </p><p>24th February 2023 </p><p>Applicants should complete a letter of application addressing the Key Selection Criteria and the required application form with the names of at least two referees and submit by email to: principal&#64;stprepp.catholic.edu.au </p><p><br /></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p>
