St Francis Xavier invites applications for the position of 0.4 FTE Education Support Officer to work as a member of our Office Administration Team.

Our Administration Staff work as a team to support the daily functioning of the school to ensure positive outcomes for every student. They are supported in this by a dynamic and engaged family and parish community. </p><p>The successful applicant will: </p><p>* Have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and the safety and wellbeing of young people </p><p>* Be committed to working as part of a collaborative team </p><p>* Be adept at working in the Google Drive suite and have excellent written and verbal communication skills </p><p>* Be open to feedback for growth and act upon it appropriately </p><p>* Be prepared to support the broader life of the school where appropriate </p><p>* Hold a current Working with Children Card </p><p>The role will primarily be focused on supporting our NCCD students and their families through the Learning Diversity Team. This includes scheduling Parent Support Group Meetings, taking and distributing minutes and overseeing the paperwork of external therapists who visit St Francis Xavier. There will be some basic office requirements included in the role such as answering phones, parent queries and first aid for students. The position is a Category B Education Support 2 and the salary will be commensurate with experience. </p><p>St Francis Xavier primary school is committed to the safety and wellbeing of all children and young people. All staff are expected to uphold and enact this commitment in their roles and ensure that all required professional learning is completed annually. It is an expectation that staff are familiar with the St Francis Xavier Child Safe Policy and Code of Conduct and enact both of these at all times. All Child Safe Policies and Procedures are reviewed annually with staff or upon appointment. </p><p>Position to commence by negotiation</p>
