<p><b>Education</b></p><p><b>School Performance and Improvement</b></p><p><b>Physical Education, Health and Outdoor Education Classroom teacher</b></p><p><b><br /></b></p><p><b>Classroom Teacher</b></p><p><b><br /></b></p><p><b>Salary Range:</b> $76,575 - $114,624 (PN: 06311)</p><p><b>Details: </b> University of Canberra High School Kaleen (UCHSK) is a 7- 10 high school with approximately 500 students.  We operate as a Professional Learning Community with a strong focus on collaboration and evidence informed practice to ensure academic, social, and emotional growth of every student.</p><p>We are seeking a dynamic classroom teacher to join our Physical Education and Health Faculty, who will:</p><ul><li>Support UCHSK leadership to achieve whole-school strategic goals and implement the school plan.</li><li>Collaboratively design and teach innovative and engaging Physical Education and Health learning programs and play a leadership role in the development and delivery of the UCHSK Outdoor Education program.</li><li>Develop productive staff relationships and work collaboratively as a member of the Physical Education and Health faculty.</li><li>Support student social and emotional learning within a PBL and Restorative Practices framework.</li><li>Undertake an appropriate teaching load and other duties as determined by the principal.</li></ul><p><b>Eligibility/other requirements: </b></p><ul><li>A minimum of four years full time (or equivalent) tertiary study leading to the award of a recognised school teaching qualification.</li><li>Current professional teaching registration with the ACT Teacher Quality Institute (or eligibility to obtain).</li><li>Prior to commencing this role, a current registration issued under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011 is required.
