You will work alongside a collaborative and community-oriented team committed to achieving positive learning outcomes for each student. More specifically you will:</p> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Structure lessons to meet the physical, social and intellectual development and characteristics of each student, meeting them where they are at in their learning journey</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Create and maintain a safe, inclusive and challenging learning environment and implement fair and equitable behaviour management plans</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Evaluate all aspects of your teaching practice to ensure you are meeting the learning needs of each student</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Interpret and use student assessment data to diagnose barriers to learning and to challenge students to improve their performance, improving the overall academic achievement of the school community</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Effectively manage the learning cycle, including planning for learning and assessment, developing learning programs, teaching, assessing, providing feedback on student learning and reporting to parents/carers</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Engage with our school community within and beyond the classroom to enrich the educational context for students and work to promote the links between school, home and community in the social and intellectual development of your students</p> </li> </ul> <p dir="ltr"><strong>About you:</strong></p> <p dir="ltr">To be successful in this highly rewarding role you will demonstrate alignment to the core purpose and values of CSPD along with:</p> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">A deep understanding of contemporary pedagogical approaches for primary years learners</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Demonstrated ability to build meaningful relationships with students and support an inclusive learning environment</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Extensive knowledge of the content and sequence of Key Learning Areas&nbsp;</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Knowledge and implementation of a variety of online and multimedia programs to support student learning&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">A demonstrated understanding of what constitutes effective, developmentally appropriate strategies in learning and teaching programs for a variety of learners</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Ability to make content meaningful to students at different levels</p> </li> </ul> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">A natural aptitude and drive to work with and within a collaborative team environment</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">A passion for transformational education, integrated into curriculum and delivered in a faith based environment</p> </li> </ul> <p dir="ltr"><strong>Qualifications and Accreditations:</strong></p> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Compliance with NSW Child Protection Legislation - Working with Children Check clearance</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Tertiary Qualification (minimum 4-year degree, or 75% complete)</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Statements of Service</p> </li> </ul> <p dir="ltr"><strong>Interested?</strong></p> <p dir="ltr">This position involves working with children.
