<div>Applications are invited from qualified and experienced educators for the position of permanent full-time classroom teacher commencing January 2023.</div><div><br /></div><p>For this position we are seeking a passionate, engaging and experienced teacher who is currently teaching in a primary school. The successful applicant will demonstrate: </p><ul><li>Commitment to the Vision and Mission of the Catholic Church and Sydney Catholic Schools </li><li>Qualifications and accreditation to teach Religious Education in accordance with Sydney Catholic Schools policies and guidelines </li><li>Child protection clearance (WWCC number) and registered to teach in NSW (NESA number) and Sydney Catholic Schools (PHRIS) </li><li>Sound understanding of current NESA syllabus documents, particularly English and Mathematics </li><li>Highly effective classroom teaching practice with the ability to engage students in authentic and engaging learning experiences </li><li>Ability to assess, evaluate and differentiate student learning, including Gifted and Talented students and those with personalised learning plans (NCCD) </li><li>Understanding of EAL/D theory and experience in catering for students with diverse language backgrounds and needs </li><li>Ability to work collaboratively in planning and programming with colleagues as part of a team approach </li><li>Effective organisational and interpersonal skills </li><li>Sound classroom management </li><li>Commitment to ongoing professional learning </li><li>Passion for teaching and learning and supporting student well-being </li><li>Willingness to contribute to the positive culture of the school community</li></ul><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p>
