We are currently seeking an innovative and enthusiastic Geography teacher to join our secondary teaching team from Term 1, 2023. Stage 6 experience essential.

The successful candidate must have a commitment to academic excellence and be able to demonstrate their capacity to deliver a rigorous academic program. Experience teaching the HSC Geography course is essential.</p><h4>Success Criteria:</h4><p>The successful applicant will: </p><ul><li>Be able to contribute to the strong academic culture of the school environment </li><li>Identify and select different instructional resources and methods to meet students&#39; varying needs </li><li>Use relevant technology to support instruction </li><li>Observe and evaluate student&#39;s performance and development </li><li>Be willing to use student data effectively to inform teaching practice </li><li>Communicate necessary information regularly to students, colleagues and parents regarding student progress and student needs </li><li>Undertake other duties as required by the Head of College or her delegate </li></ul><h5>The successful candidate will possess the following core competencies: </h5><ul><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills </li><li>Motivation, dedication and enthusiasm for learning </li><li>Positivity and a high level of emotional intelligence </li><li>High expectations for the learning and achievements of students </li><li>Professional presentation and conduct </li><li>A strong work ethic and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively </li><li>Willingness to actively support the Orthodox ethos of the school </li></ul><p><br /></p><p> </p>
