St Bede’s Catholic College, Chisholm is seeking a temporary part time (6hrs per week) TAS Assistant&nbsp;to join the team in January 2023 for 12 months.<br><br>St Bede’s Catholic College, in the recently established suburb of Chisholm, is a new co-educational Catholic secondary school that is part of the Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle.<br>The College opened in 2018 and will eventually cater for 1,100 students in Years 7 to 12.<br>Currently, the College has approximately 680 Year 7-11 students, with the first Year 12 cohort to graduate in 2023.&nbsp;<br><br>The key components that drive the development of the school are Courage, Knowledge, Community and Faith.<br>These components align to the four domains of the College’s Strategic Plan – Catholic Formation and Mission, Learning and Teaching, Leadership, Wellbeing and Partnerships.<br><br><a href="https://diocesemn.azurewebsites.net/media/5829/position_description_-_cso_-_tas_assistant.pdf" target="_blank"><strong><br><br><head3><b>POSITION DESCRIPTION</b></head3></strong></a><br><br>The position of TAS Assistant will be responsible for providing direct support and assistance to the Technology Teachers and contributing to the maintenance and development of a safe working TAS and Workshop environment. This position will form part of a team and work closely with, and take direction from, the TAS Leader of Learning and members of the School Leadership Team.<br><br>The Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle is committed to safeguarding children and vulnerable adults, preventing those in our care from suffering abuse or neglect, and is committed to being compliant with the National Principles for Child Safe Organisations and the National Catholic Safeguarding Standards.
