<p>We are seeking a passionate Humanities teacher who has the disposition and skills to contribute to the achievement of our strategic intent to co-evolve a new exemplar of future-focused schooling that contributes to the transformation of global education.</p><p>Key Selection Criteria: </p><p>1. A demonstrable commitment to working within the culture and philosophy of Adventist Education as defined by <a href="https://www.adventist.edu.au/our-education-system/" rel="nofollow">Adventist Schools Australia.</a> </p><p>2. Intellectually and emotionally intelligent with a demonstrated love of the teaching profession. </p><p>3. Guided by a strong ethical framework, morally courageous and judicious in decision-making. </p><p>4. Driven to achieve the best outcomes for the student, parents, staff and the broader MC community within the framework of MC’s Strategic Intent. </p><p>5. A demonstrated capacity to meet the professional expectations of the teaching profession as expressed by AITSL and NESA. </p><p>6. Strong literacy and numeracy skills and the ability to make learning come to life for students through the delivery of student-centred differentiated learning programs. </p><p>7. A strategic researcher and creative and critical thinker with a demonstrated capacity to collaboratively contribute to the ongoing adaptive build-out of a best-practice, future-focused K-12 learning program. </p><p>8. The capacity to infuse design thinking and makerspace cultures into their classroom, together with the ability to work collaboratively with the school’s dedicated Design Lab teachers to ensure each student is receiving learning which aligns to the Global Competencies. </p><p>Other Information: </p><p>Employment at MC is subject to, and inclusive of, the following conditions: </p><p>1. A successful ‘Working with Children Check’ prior to commencing employment. </p><p>2. A three-month probationary period. </p><p>3. Adherence to the Staff Code of Conduct. </p><p>4. Relevant qualifications and current teaching registration. </p><p>5.
