We are offering an exciting opportunity for a HR Advisor to join our People & Culture team!

<p><b>Location: </b>the Catholic Education Office, Diocese of Parramatta</p><p dir="ltr"><strong>About the Role&nbsp;</strong></p> <p dir="ltr">We are currently seeking a HR Advisor to join our Employment Relations team on a temporary 12 month full-time basis. This is an exciting and varied role where you will work closely with our schools and central office employees to provide professional HR advice across all employee lifecycle activities, and you will have exposure to Industrial Relations matters and Enterprise Agreement negotiations.&nbsp;</p> <p dir="ltr">This role will report directly to the Employment Relations Manager, and provides an outstanding opportunity to work in a busy and friendly team environment, delivering high standards and timely outcomes for our organisation. This is an exciting time to join our team as we are undergoing a period of transformation across our HR operating model, so this role will play a key role in shaping our future ways of working, by supporting the development of our core HR processes and policies.&nbsp;</p> <p dir="ltr">We are working on a hybrid model with the flexibility of working 50% split between our Parramatta office and working from home.</p> <p dir="ltr"><strong>The variety of your role will include:</strong></p> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Providing accurate and timely advice on HR related matters to our schools and central office <br><br></p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Collaborating with other HR teams i.e., Payroll, Work Health &amp; Safety (WHS) &amp; Return to Work (RTW), and Talent Acquisition to resolve issues <br><br></p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Coordinating and undertaking HR investigations in partnership with our employment relations advisory partner, the Catholic Employment Relations (CER) to expedite the delivery of Employment Relations advice <br><br></p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Assisting in the development and implementation of HR projects, programs and training <br><br></p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Providing interpretation to stakeholders regarding HR policies, programs and practices <br><br></p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Maintaining effective records management, data integrity, reporting and analytics<br><br></p> </li> </ul> <p dir="ltr"><strong>What you will bring&nbsp;</strong></p> <p dir="ltr">To be successful in the role, you will demonstrate alignment to our purpose and values, together with:</p> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Degree qualified in HR or similar would be preferred <br><br></p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Proven experience in a similar role, working within a complex organisation, exceptional customer service and stakeholder management skills <br><br></p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Strong planning, organising and multitasking skills <br><br></p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Proven experience working with various HRIS platforms, preferably Success Factors <br><br></p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Ideally some experience in Google Docs, Gmail, ServiceNow and SharePoint systems<br><br></p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Exceptional written and verbal communication skills <br><br></p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">An understanding of the Catholic Education System is preferred but not essential <br><br></p> </li> </ul> <p dir="ltr"><strong>About Us</strong></p> <p dir="ltr">At Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese (CSPD) we are committed to responding to the needs of our students in a world that is changing rapidly.
