Finance Officers must demonstrate attention to detail, excellent time management with the&nbsp;ability to work under pressure and multitask as well as the capacity to maintain a high degree of&nbsp;confidentiality.<br><br>The Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle is committed to safeguarding children and vulnerable adults, preventing those in our care from suffering abuse or neglect, and is committed to being compliant with the National Principles for Child Safe Organisations and the National Catholic Safeguarding Standards. All employees are required to undergo a National Police Check, retain a valid NSW Working with Children Check and ensure compliance with our safeguarding policies, the Diocesan Safeguarding Commitment Statement, and the Codes of Conduct.<br><br>Finance Officers will be required to engage in other general financial tasks as designated by the Principal or&nbsp;delegate and other general administrative duties as required and directed by the Principal or delegate.&nbsp;&nbsp;Finance Officers within the Catholic Schools Office, Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle may be classified as&nbsp;either a level 5 or 6.
