We are currently seeking a suitably experienced Publications Content Creator to join our College on a full-time ongoing contract.

<p>St Francis Xavier College is a Catholic College with a 2022 enrolment of 3300 students which will continue to grow in 2023. <br /></p><p>The College serves families from the parishes of Berwick, Koo Wee Rup, Maryknoll/Iona, Narre Warren and Pakenham under the governance of Diocese of Sale Catholic Education Limited (DOSCEL).<br /></p><p>St Francis Xavier College is easily accessed via several major freeways – only 20 minutes on the M1 from Springvale Road.<br /></p><p>We are currently seeking a suitably experienced Publications Content Creator to join our College on a full-time ongoing contract.<br /></p><p>This role is responsible for producing a wide range of promotional material, including the College Yearbook, posters, banners etc, along with digital and website content, via photography and videography. Production of promotional items often involves working from templates but also includes working with colleagues to produce new designs. <br /></p><p>The Publications Content Creator will take ownership of allocated projects from design concepts to production and delivery and will involve working with students, as well as internal and external stakeholders.<br /></p><p><b>Key responsibilities include:</b></p><ul><li>Proofreading items produced as required</li><li>Assist with print buying for allocated projects</li><li>Ensuring all items produced comply with St Francis Xavier College brand guidelines</li><li>Ensuring that items are produced on time and to the highest standard</li><li>Designing/editing materials such as promotional items and covers for College documents</li><li>Producing graphics/photographs/video content for the College website and social media</li><li>Maintain the College Photo Library and marketing resources</li><li>Collaborates on multi-camera recordings and live-streaming projects</li><li>Interacts with staff and students directly via written or interpersonal communication</li><li>Maintains a current understanding of the updates on video recording</li><li>Assist and attend College Open Days</li><li>Always uphold the College brand </li><li>Maintain video and photographic content for College use only</li><li>Occasional out-of-hours work for events</li><li>Any other duties as directed by the College Principal, Business Manager or Marketing Manager</li></ul><p><b>To excel in this position, you will have the following skills, experience and attributes</b></p><ul><li>Experience and expertise in the use of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop (desirable)</li><li>Excellent layout skills</li><li>The ability to edit and capture high-quality video with HDSLR and professional video cameras.</li><li>Proficiency in a range of video-related software, including but not limited to Adobe Premiere</li><li>Knowledge/experience distributing web videos across social media platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, Vimeo, LinkedIn, etc.</li><li>Excellent attention to detail</li><li>Excellent written English and proofreading skills</li><li>Ability to multi-task, to work at speed accurately and under pressure</li><li>Ability to work effectively alone and as part of a team</li><li>Ability to interpret the needs of stakeholders effectively</li><li>Interest and skills in producing items in digital formats</li><li>Photography skills</li><li>Commitment to occupational health and safety</li><li>An understanding of and commitment to Catholic education </li></ul><p>Staff are employed under the Diocese of Sale Catholic Education Limited Schools and Secretariat Agreement 2022.<br /></p><p>This position is classified as Category A, Level 2 position. <br /></p><p>Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.<br /></p><p><b>Application closes on Friday, 3 March 2023 at 5:00pm</b><br /></p><p>The successful applicant will also be required to undergo a Working with Children Check and National Police Check prior to commencement.<br /></p><p>The St Francis Xavier College community is committed to the safety, wellbeing, protection and inclusion of all children in our care.</p>
