An exciting opportunity exists to join St Francis de Sales Catholic Primary School in Woolooware. We are seeking an experienced, innovative, and passionate Senior Administrative Support Officer (Level 6 qualifications) to manage our school office. You will coordinate office administration, and perform the higher-level office duties as directed by the School Principal.

<p><b>Major Accountabilities</b></p><p>The School Support Officer Level 6 is required to perform tasks that include:</p><ul><li>Providing higher-level administrative support.</li><li>Coordinating the allocation of administrative work in the office.</li><li>Providing specialist clerical and administrative leadership to the Principal, school leadership team, teaching, and support staff.</li><li>Engaging in regular communications with the Principal and other school community members concerning school administrative systems, including occupational health and safety, finance, recruitment and staff development, maintenance of facilities, and planning work priorities in the office.</li><li>Providing financial administration.</li><li>Providing site induction and maintaining school health and safety systems and records.</li><li>Managing and maintaining registers.</li><li>Providing management in administration, human resources, finances, school fees, office leadership, and associated reports to the Principal.   </li></ul><p><br /></p><p>We welcome applications from qualified staff who have:</p><ul><li>A willingness to respect, support, and uphold the mission, ethos, and teachings of the Catholic Church and the values of Sydney Catholic Schools.</li><li>Administrative/clerical experience.</li><li>Experience working with children/working in a school.</li><li>Experience in financial/administrative management.</li><li>Demonstrated sound personal qualities of tact, reliability, and an ability to work with others individually and as a team member.</li><li>Honesty, discretion, and the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.</li><li>Strong interpersonal and organisational skills.</li><li>Experience with emerging technologies, including Google Suite and Microsoft Office software, Google Chrome, Compass, CiAnywhere as well as a good understanding of Facilities tasks and WHS.</li><li>A valid Working With Children Check clearance (WWC) number.</li></ul><p>Child Protection Legislation requires preferred applicants to be subject to employment screening.</p><p>Applicants are required to provide the name and contact details of at least three referees.</p><p>Position commences: Term 1 2023 (negotiable)</p><p><br /></p>
