Operating 56 Schools and 8 Early Learning Centres, CE is key to the education of over 21,000 students within the Diocese and employing over 2,100 professionals.</p> <p style="margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify; line-height: 115%"><strong>About the Role</strong></p> <p>This role provides information technology expertise in solution design, implementation, IT governance and analysis.</p> <p>The role is responsible for ongoing improvement of an IT platform that will be used for enterprise data informed decision making. This includes data warehouse, data discovery tools, analytics and machine learning tools, data visualisation tools, integration and data movement capability from source systems to the platform and enterprise-wide self-reporting capabilities.</p> <p><strong>Key responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Provide technical expertise in development and support of the Catholic Education (CE) data discovery and analytics platform (DDAP) including data warehouse functions, integration tools, data discovery tools, analytics and machine learning tools, and data visualisation tools.</li> <li>Manage the technical development and maintenance of CE Data Discovery and Analysis Platform (DDAP), working closely with the key data users across the organisation.</li> <li>Develop and maintain data integrations from source systems to the DDAP using CE’s Integration technologies. Currently this is using the Dell Boomi platform and Azure Data Factory.</li> <li>Ensure stability and quality of the platform by utilising appropriate change control and release management procedures and required user and technical documentation.
