Together with the Parish of All Saints Catholic Liverpool, staff and students work closely together to nurture the spiritual and faith development of each child.<br> <br> <strong>About You</strong><br> <br> As the Dean of Operations 11-12, you will be a member of the College leadership team leading 60 staff in the delivery of a quality educational experience for approximately 510 students. Partnering with the priest, principal and other Catholic lay leaders, you will be co-responsible for the evangelising mission of the Church within an educational context. You will play a vital role in ensuring that the SCS values of empathy, excellence, truth, curiosity and collaboration are drivers for establishing a thriving Catholic community. Your key location whilst supporting the principal will be at the All Saints Catholic College Liverpool campus.<br> <br> To be considered for this role, you must demonstrate proven experience in:</p> <ul> <li>promoting and implementing Sydney Catholic Schools' mission: 'To know and love Christ through learning'; and the vision: creating 'Thriving Catholic communities through excellent teaching and learning'</li> <li>leading a school-wide culture that is characterised by high performance, continuous improvement, data-informed decision making and a commitment to best practice</li> <li>working with the principal to ensure effective strategic change through implementing a range of improvement strategies</li> <li>ensuring accreditation, compliance and governance accountabilities are met through the completion of delegated tasks</li> <li>establishing clear expectations and standards for student learning, behaviour, attendance and engagement</li> <li>working with parents and carers to ensure the home-school partnership is constantly strengthened</li> <li>leading the creation, monitoring and updating of school timetables, school calendars and events</li> <li>leading a 'network approach' that promotes the reciprocal benefits of school and system partnerships</li> <li>as a baptised Catholic, evidence of ongoing commitment to the teachings of the Catholic Church and engagement in the life of a Catholic faith community.</li> </ul> <p>You will have attained or be pursuing the following qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>postgraduate qualifications or Masters in Leadership, Religion, Theology or a relevant educational field</li> <li>requirements of <a href="https://sydcatholicschools.nsw.edu.au/policies/accreditation-policy-to-work-teach-and-lead-in-sydney-catholic-schools">(Category E)</a> in the Accreditation Policy to Work Teach and Lead in Sydney Catholic Schools or agree to meet these requirements in your first contract term.</li> </ul> <p>SCS offers a generous salary package for school leadership positions.
