Responsible for the development and implementation of a College wide procurement strategy, we are on the search for an experienced and proactive Manager to join us from 2023.

<h4>The role </h4><p>Optimising procurement processes and working collaboratively with the Executive team to negotiate contracts across a huge variety of suppliers within the College, our Procurement Manager will join the College on a full-time basis for a 24-month fixed term from 2023. </p><p>You will be responsible for developing and implementing a fit for purpose procurement framework, focusing on optimising existing agreements and obtaining the most cost effective and efficient agreement with potential new suppliers. Working with various stakeholders across the College, you’ll ensure potential risks are identified and work towards establishing policies and procedures to drive organisational compliance. With a high level of communication skills and a strategic mind, you will be experienced and confident in negotiation and be adaptable with your style to suit all situations, all while maintaining high level relationships between suppliers and vendors. </p><p><br /></p><h4>Our kind of team member </h4><p>You will display the following skills and attributes: </p><ul><li>Qualifications in procurement are highly desirable which may include a bachelor’s degree in finance, business or accounting or a related field </li><li>The ability to demonstrate industry knowledge of the education sector or not-for profit sectors or equivalent would be highly regarded </li><li>Willingness to support and promote the ethos and values of the College. </li><li>Previous experience working in a procurement role for a similar sized organisation. </li><li>Demonstrated experience working and collaborating effectively with others, ensuring key stakeholders are involved, sharing information and ensuring people are kept informed of progress, changes and issues. </li><li>Strong verbal and written communications skills </li><li>Strong organisational/project management skills, ability to work to deadlines and meet budget targets. </li></ul><p><br /></p><h4>Your kind of workplace </h4><p>Pymble people are at the heart of what the College offers its students.
