This opportunity is offered as a part time (0.6 FTE) role for Term 1 2023. This role will facilitate, support and enhance student love and appreciation of the subject. It is expected that all subject teachers have a broad and deep understanding of their subject specific content and curriculum. </p><p>Responsibilities of the role will include: </p><ul><li>Prepare and conduct Physical Education classes with a particular focus on Years 7 to 10 </li><li>Utilise appropriate pedagogical practices to expand the growth of individual students </li><li>Employ a variety of strategies to effectively implement the curriculum </li><li>Assist with curriculum development in collaboration with colleagues and Head of Faculty </li><li>Participate actively in all aspects of school life beyond the classroom </li><li>Provide students with a child-safe environment </li></ul><p><b>About You </b></p><p>The successful candidate will be a secondary school PE Teacher with an innovative and engaging teaching style and demonstrated understanding and appreciation of the principals and practices of student learning strategies. Your excellent communication and organisational skills coupled with a collaboratives approach to planning and delivering curriculum will be central to this role.
