This role is a full-time permanent teaching position with a temporary 2-point Coordinator remuneration, which may extend into a permanent appointment in 2024.

<p>We are seeking a Head of Organisational Effectiveness. This position is a permanent full time teaching position with a temporary 2-point remuneration allocation with 3-point time allocation in a temporary capacity for 2023. There is the possibility of this Leadership position being extended to a permanent appointment in 2024. An ability to teach English, Maths or Science is an advantage but not essential. </p><div>The Head of Organisational Effectiveness is a delegated responsibility by the Principal and a member of the College Strategic Organisation Team. The Head of Organisational Effectiveness shares with the Principal responsibility for providing quality Catholic education for students in their care. They have particular responsibility for a diverse range of administrative tasks that ensure the smooth and professional operation of the College. The Southern Cross Advantage allows students to combine studies for senior school qualifications with higher level national qualifications, graduating work-ready and with dual qualifications. </div><div> </div><div><b><br /></b></div><div><b>Key Selection criteria: </b></div><div>The ability to:<br /></div><ul><li>support the mission and ethos of the Catholic school in carrying out the day-to-day duties of the position.</li><li>ensure adequate supervision and provision of student work for all classes/duties of absent teachers.<br /></li><li>support the structures, procedures and production of reports of student progress. </li><li>collaborate with Heads of Subschools in regard to the development of exam/assessment timetables. </li><li>organise Learning Progress Conferences (Parent/Teacher/Student) Interviews. </li><li>oversee all aspects of College Assemblies and events.</li><li>organise the staffing and rooming during College events when and if necessary.</li><li>collaborate with the Assistant Principal to maintain the balance of open and fair processes for the allocation of extra/supplementary/in lieu duties for staff. </li><li>implement and review structures and procedures that are conducive to the efficient daily functioning of the College. </li><li>update student and staff timetables/learning schedules when necessary.</li><li>liaise with the Manager of Partnerships and Enterprise to support both College and Enterrse events.</li><li>liaise with office staff in regards to completion of leave forms for absent staff and payment forms for casual staff.</li><li>collaborate with relevant stakeholders in developing and maintaining the College timetable and Daily Administration throughout the year. </li><li>undertake other tasks and responsibilities which may be requested by the Principal.<br /></li></ul><div><b><i>Desirable: </i></b></div><ul><li>Knowledge of Edval and Compass (training available). </li><li>Experience in a middle management role. </li><li>Experience of 5 years of teaching. </li></ul><div><br /></div><p>To apply, please submit an introductory letter and CV outlining your qualifications and experience, and your passion for developing the next generation of young people for work or further study.<br /></p><p><b>Closing date:  </b>14/12/2022.</p><p><b>Commencement date: </b> 27/1/2023</p><p> </p><p> </p>
