Catholic Education Diocese of Wollongong (CEDoW) comprises 38 Catholic schools with more then 20,000 students enrolled across the Illawarra, Macarthur, Shoalhaven and Southern Highlands regions.

<p><b>Location:</b> Catholic Education Office, Wollongong</p><p dir="ltr">The Director of Schools Diocese of Wollongong (CEDoW) invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced personnel two permanent full time positions of Administration Officer in the School Improvement Services Specialist Support (SI-SS) Team, commencing 16 January 2023.&nbsp;</p> <p dir="ltr">These positions exist to support the administrative requirements of the SI-SS Team which is currently based at the Emmaus Catholic Education Centre, Macarthur (ECECM) and Marian Centre, Wollongong.&nbsp; The successful applicants will be based at the Marian Centre, Wollongong,&nbsp; however, there may be times when they will be required to work from ECECM.&nbsp; Applicants will be supportive of the ethos and mission of CEDoW and understand the purpose of these positions as ultimately serving the needs of the students and staff in our Catholic schools.</p> <p dir="ltr">SIGNIFICANT DUTIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES</p> <p dir="ltr">These positions involve:&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li dir="ltr">Contributing to the implementation of the Strategic Intent of CEDoW as stated in Lighting the Way.</li> <li dir="ltr">Working collaboratively with staff across CEO Service Areas, schools, Diocesan Agencies, suppliers and other third parties.</li> <li dir="ltr">Supporting effective and efficient central office and school-based processes.</li> <li dir="ltr">Providing clerical and administrative support.</li> <li dir="ltr">Calendar management and bookings.</li> <li dir="ltr">Preparing professional learning materials/resources.</li> <li dir="ltr">Managing records and maintaining databases, accounting, payment of invoices, and resource ordering.</li> </ul> <p>ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA</p> <ul> <li dir="ltr">A commitment to the mission and purpose of Catholic Education and the broader Catholic Church.</li> <li dir="ltr">Proficiency in Google and MS Office suite of applications.&nbsp;</li> <li dir="ltr">Ability to provide administrative support to members of the SI-SS Team.</li> <li dir="ltr">Ability to take initiative and implement improved efficiencies in processes.</li> <li dir="ltr">Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.&nbsp;</li> <li dir="ltr">Effective organisational skills and demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail.</li> </ul> <p dir="ltr">The following GENERAL CAPABILITIES are applicable to the role:</p> <ul> <li dir="ltr">Excellent written and oral communication skills.</li> <li dir="ltr">Ability to recognise confidential issues as they arise and to treat them with the sensitivity required.</li> <li dir="ltr">A demonstrated positive attitude to innovation and change.</li> </ul> <p dir="ltr">QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE</p> <ul> <li dir="ltr">Minimum Certificate IV in Business Administration or equivalent.</li> <li dir="ltr">Minimum of three years experience in an office environment and in general office processes and procedures.</li> </ul> <p dir="ltr">SALARY</p> <p dir="ltr">Salary per Annum: $69,458&nbsp;+ 10.5% superannuation.</p> <p dir="ltr">WORKING WITH CHILDREN CLEARANCE</p> <p dir="ltr">This role is classified as child-related work and therefore a Working with Children Check (WWCC) is required prior to your employment with CEDoW.&nbsp;</p> <p dir="ltr"><em>The Catholic Education Office is an agency of the Catholic Church called to stewardship and service in support of the system of Catholic Schools in the Diocese of Wollongong.
