The suitable candidate will also have: </p><ul><li>Demonstrated ability to teach Year 7 – 10 Health &amp; Physical Education and core Physical Education </li><li>Demonstrated ability to teach Year 7 – 9 Christian Studies </li><li>Demonstrated ability to teach Year 11 and 12 QCAA Physical Education syllabus, highly desirable </li><li>Demonstrated ability to teach Year 11 and 12 QCAA Religion &amp; Ethics syllabus, highly desirable </li><li>Accredited teacher with Lutheran Education Australia, highly desirable </li><li>Current eligibility to teach in Queensland and work in Australia </li><li>Preference for experienced teachers </li><li>Ability to teach in another area could be an advantage </li><li>Willingness to assist with GEL – Grow, Empower, Learn (student holistic care program), GEL lessons, Chapel supervision, Inter-School sporting teams or recreational activities </li><li>Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary curriculum issues in Christian Studies, Health and Physical Education </li><li>Awareness of National curriculum imperatives. </li></ul><p><b>About Us </b></p><p>Grace Lutheran College is a large two campus, co-educational secondary school with a strong history of excellent education.
