<p><strong>Location:</strong>&nbsp;Amaroo, ACT<br><strong>Employment Type:</strong>&nbsp;Temporary, full-time (negotiable)<br><strong>Salary Range:</strong>&nbsp;$48,979 to $ 57,779 plus Superannuation (based on skills and experience, paid pro-rata to part-time arrangement)<br><span style="font-size: 14.6667px"><strong>Employment Term: </strong>23 January 2023 until 22 December 2023</span><br><strong>Closing Date:</strong>&nbsp;11.55pm, Sunday 11 December 2022</p> <p>Good Shepherd Primary School is a Kindergarten to Year 6 Catholic co-educational school, which currently caters for 746 students.</p> <p><strong>About the Role</strong></p> <p>As the Grounds and Maintenance Officer, you will undertake the maintenance of the grounds and school buildings. To be successful in this role, you will be familiar with and comply with the school’s mission and vision of Catholic Education. The key task is to keep the school looking tidy, clean and presentable.</p> <p><strong>Essential Criteria</strong></p> <ul> <li>A commitment to Catholic education and the promotion of the mission of the Catholic Church.</li> <li>Demonstrated organisational skills including the ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and use initiative.</li> <li>Ability to work both independently as well as collaboratively and flexibly</li> <li>A willingness to undertake any certified training</li> <li>Ability to operate and maintain gardening and maintenance machinery and equipment in accordance with OHS expectations and guidelines.</li> <li>Well-developed interpersonal skills including an ability to relate to all levels of the school community, including management, staff, students and visitors.</li> <li>Maintenance skills and experience that would enable the completion of minor maintenance projects.</li> </ul> <p><em>Please refer to the role description for an in-depth detail regarding criteria and skill set required.</em><br><em><br></em><strong>Application Process</strong></p> <p>Applications are invited from interested candidates able to demonstrate a commitment to the vision of Catholic Education.</p> <p>Applicants are required to submit a cover letter and current resume including a statement of suitability against the skills, attributes and experience as outlined in the Position Description</p> <p>This position involves working with children.
