<p><b>Location: </b>Holy Family Primary School - Emerton</p><p dir="ltr">Holy Family Emerton is seeking to employ a passionate and experienced Library Technician with strong customer focus and a positive can do attitude when interacting with students, staff and parents and assist in the provision of library and information services that support the educational aims of our school. This will be a Part time position&nbsp;(1 day per week) for the 2023 school year!</p> <p>The Library Technician serves the school in supporting staff and students of Holy Family Primary School in the full utilisation of the library services, resources and facilities.</p> <p dir="ltr"><strong>Selection Criteria:</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Strong customer focus and a positive can do attitude when interacting with students, staff and parents.</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with the library team and staff and students across the school.</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Experience in a library management system is preferred.</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Proficient and in utilising digital library resources&nbsp; and a capacity to assist students and staff in the use of library digital resources.</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Willingness to learn and explore new technologies and work in an adaptive library environment..</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy.</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Ability to promote the library through creative and informative displays both physically and digitally.</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Understanding of copyright and other intellectual property issues as they relate to education.</p> </li> </ul> <p><br><br></p> <p dir="ltr"><strong>Qualifications and accreditations:</strong></p> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Qualifications Certificate III/IV Library/Information Services, or similar;</p> </li> </ul> <p dir="ltr"><strong>Interested?</strong></p> <p dir="ltr">This position involves working with children.
