We are seeking an enthusiastic, innovative and highly skilled Mathematics Leader and educator who is willing to work collaboratively in an open learning environment. This is an ongoing full-time position commencing Term One 2023. A commitment to the safety, wellbeing and protection of all children in our care is essential.

<p><b>Role Description- Mathematics Leader </b><br /></p><p>The responsibilities of the Mathematics Leader at St. Clare’s Catholic Primary School in partnership and consultation with the Principal and the School Leadership Team are outlined below, but are not restricted to the following: </p><p><b>Key Focus: </b>Lead the implementation of the Mathematics curriculum and support systemic Mathematics direction as outlined by MACS. </p><p><b>Leadership Expectations:</b></p><ul><li>Promote and support the Catholic identity and ethos of the school</li><li>Lead the implementation of the Mathematics curriculum</li><li>Be an active member of the Leadership Team</li></ul><p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Contribute to the achievement of goals outlined in the St Clare&#39;s School Improvement Plan and Annual Action Plan</li><li>Support staff in the planning and implementation of the Mathematics Curriculum</li><li>Maintain own professional knowledge of contemporary practice and trends in the area of Mathematics</li><li>Collaborate with other curriculum leaders as required</li><li>Provide professional learning opportunities for staff</li><li>Lead staff meetings and professional learning team meetings with a Mathematics focus</li><li>Manage Mathematics resourcing and budgets<br /></li><li>Attend Mathematics Network meetings</li><li>Carry out other duties delegated by the Principal as required </li></ul><p><b>Special Requirements :</b></p><ul><li>Strong commitment to Catholic education and Catholic identity </li><li>Willingness to be actively involved in the school and parish communities </li><li>Passion for building strong partnerships and links between our families and school </li><li>Accreditation to teach Religious Education, post graduate study in the area of Religious Education or Theological Studies would be an advantage</li><li>Evidence of ongoing personal and professional development </li><li>Ability to plan and implement engaging programs using knowledge of contemporary learning and teaching practices </li><li>Knowledge of and a demonstrated ability to differentiate learning to meet the needs of students across a range of abilities </li><li>Experience, or willingness to work with students from diverse cultural backgrounds </li><li>Adherence to St Clare&#39;s Child Safety Policy and Code of Conduct and other policies relevant to Ministerial Order 1359</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively to support and contribute to the building of a professional learning culture</li><li>Knowledge of the AITSL Australian Professional Standards for Teachers </li><li>Current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching with an up to date Criminal Record check.</li></ul><p><b>Application Instructions </b></p><p> Applications should be made in writing and forwarded via email only to Jane Martin, at the following email address: principal&#64;sctruganina.catholic.edu.au.
