The Catholic Schools Office (CSO) is currently seeking a highly proficient and experienced Leadership Coach K-12&nbsp;to join the team fromfrom January 2023.<br><br><br>The Catholic Schools Office (CSO) is responsible for the leadership, operation and management of systemic schools which educate more than 21,000 students in 44 primary schools, 11 secondary schools, one K–12 school, one flexible learning centre and one special school in the Catholic Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle.<br><br><a href="https://diocesemn.azurewebsites.net/media/5976/position_description_-_cso_-_leadership_coach_-_k_-_12.pdf" target="_blank"><strong><br><br><head3><b>POSITION DESCRIPTION</b></head3></strong></a><br><br>The Leadership Coach – K–12 will work to build the capacity of middle leaders and assistant principals as effective school leaders, working both one on one with assistant principals and middle leaders and with school leadership teams.&nbsp;<br><br>As a member of the School Improvement Team they will support the ongoing development and implementation of high-quality professional learning programs and partner with team colleagues to support a pipeline of future leaders and a culture of innovation and improvement across our Diocese. They will:<br><li>Mentor leaders through:&nbsp;<br></li><li><br></li><li></li><li>Supporting their identification of appropriate professional goals in order to build their capacity as leaders<br></li><li></li><li>Providing quality feedback to develop their professional practices as identified in the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers<br></li><li><br></li><li><br></li><li>In collaboration with colleagues, plan, design and implement high quality professional learning and coaching programs to build leadership capacity and support current and future leaders and school improvement across our Diocese<br></li><li>Provide appropriate professional development to meet the needs of school leadership teams&nbsp;<br></li>
