We are currently seeking an experienced, innovative and enthusiastic PDHPE teacher to join our secondary teaching team from Term 1, 2023 who will also play an integral part in assisting in the facilitation of our Sports program.

It offers a diverse program and opportunities for leadership and service. </p><p>We are currently seeking an experienced, innovative and enthusiastic PDHPE teacher to join our secondary teaching team from Term 1, 2023 who will also play an integral part in assisting in the orchestration and facilitation of our Sports program. </p><p>St Spyridon College is a proud member of the ISA competition and has both boy and girl teams committed to the Saturday game roster. It is expected that the successful candidate would be available outside of the normal school day Monday to Friday, and on Saturday, to assist with the coordination of training and hosting of games.</p><p>Closing date for application is December 10, 2022. </p><h4>Success Criteria: </h4><p>The successful applicant will: </p><p>• Be able to contribute to the strong academic culture of the school environment </p><p>• Identify and select different instructional resources and methods to meet students&#39; varying needs </p><p>• Use relevant technology to support instruction </p><p>• Observe and evaluate student&#39;s performance and development </p><p>• Be willing to use student data effectively to inform teaching practice </p><p>• Communicate necessary information regularly to students, colleagues and parents regarding student progress and student needs </p><p>• Undertake other duties as required by the Head of College or her delegate </p><h5>The successful candidate will possess the following core competencies: </h5><p>• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills </p><p>• High level of organisation </p><p>• Motivation, dedication and enthusiasm for learning </p><p>• Positivity and a high level of emotional intelligence </p><p>• High expectations for the learning and achievements of students </p><p>• Professional presentation and conduct </p><p>• A strong work ethic and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively </p><p>• Willingness to actively support the Orthodox ethos of the school</p><p> </p>
