<p>Catholic Education Sandhurst Limited is seeking applications from individuals for the fixed-term (Long </p><p>Service Leave replacement - 23 January - 23 June 2023) role of Education Officer: Learner Diversity. </p><p>The Education Officer: Learner Diversity role will be responsible for a set selection of schools, in providing information, support and expert advice to school leaders and teachers in relation to students including diverse learners, learning difficulties, gifted education, health and mobility conditions and sensory difficulties.</p><p>You will be provided with a high degree of support from your team, including mentoring by skilled experts.</p><p><b>You will possess the following: </b></p><p>• Postgraduate or further qualifications in a disability-related field (i.e. Inclusion, Special Education, Sensory, Mental Health, Psychology, Disability specific e.g. ASD).</p><p>• Extensive experience in teaching and leadership in Catholic schools or other relevant school settings, particularly with students with diverse learning needs.</p><p>• Demonstrated knowledge of the NCCD criteria. </p><p>• Demonstrated understanding of inclusive teaching practices, including Multi-Tiered Systems of Support/Response to Intervention.</p><p>• Demonstrated successful experience in the development of contemporary, evidence-based teaching and learning approaches including a broad range of assessments to inform adjustments for students with diverse learning needs.</p><p>The Catholic Education Office Sandhurst (CEOS) Team comprises approximately 100 employees working across seven Functions, supporting over 56 schools within the Sandhurst Diocese and is based across Bendigo, Tatura, and Wangaratta.
