It is a collaborative ministry of witness and service and part of the evangelising mission of the Church.</p> <p><strong>Key focus areas</strong></p> <p>The Technologies (TAS) &nbsp;Teacher will fit the following criteria:</p> <ul> <li>Contemporary and authoritative professional knowledge and understanding of the teaching of Technologies and the factors that influence learning and development, effective pedagogies, assessment and reporting, a wide range of resources, including interactive technologies, and their use in teaching and learning</li> <li>A preparedness to learn and implement the pedagogies used within the school, namely Project/Problem Based Learning and Flipped Classroom</li> <li>Understanding of how to differentiate learning to cater for students needs in order to maximise student learning.</li> <li>Commitment to the continual improvement of their teaching practice and take opportunities for personal professional development.</li> <li>Exhibits passion and proficiency in a specialised technology, including but not limited to:<br> <ul type="circle"> <li>Computing / IST</li> <li>Food</li> <li>Design</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <p><strong>The Organisation</strong></p> <p dir="ltr">Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese provides quality learning and teaching in a faith-centred environment across 83 primary and secondary schools and within early learning and out of school hours care centres in Western Sydney.&nbsp;</p> <p dir="ltr">This position involves working with children.
