<p>Applications are invited for the following positions: </p><p>CLASSROOM TEACHER (PRIMARY) </p><p>Commencing 27 January 2023 </p><p>We have a full-time temporary position in 2023 for a passionate educator who demonstrates a strong commitment to providing a contemporary, flexible and data informed learning environment for our students. If you believe in making a real difference with children, and love being part of a welcoming and dynamic professional learning community, then we would like you to join us at our newly amalgamated school, Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School, Matraville. </p><p>ESSENTIAL CRITERIA </p><ul><li>A sound knowledge and commitment to Catholic Education, a clear understanding of the vision and mission of Catholic Schools and a willingness to support the faith formation of students, including key liturgical, sacramental and family Mass attendance. </li><li>Qualifications and accreditation to teach Religious Education. </li><li>Experienced classroom teacher familiar with Early Learning principles. </li><li>Willingness and the ability to work effectively in a contemporary and flexible learning environment as part of a professional learning community. </li><li>Ability to work as part of a team in developing K-6 school and classroom programs. </li><li>Highly developed interpersonal skills demonstrating an ability to effectively communicate with parents, staff and students. </li><li>A commitment to academic excellence with high expectations of all students. </li><li>Capable of empowering students to be independent and creative learners. </li><li>Strong pedagogical practice in literacy and numeracy, including analysis of data (experience in MEE an advantage, or a willingness to learn). </li><li>Knowledge and expertise in Gifted Education is an advantage.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p>APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS</p><p>Prospective applicants are to express their interest by submitting a written application consisting of: </p><ul><li>a cover letter to the principal which outlines the reasons for applying </li><li>Curriculum Vitae which outlines qualifications, experience and addresses the essential criteria </li><li>Parish Priest reference is preferred </li><li>Current Working with Children Check </li><li>names and contact details of two referees</li></ul><p><br /></p><p> </p>
