Finance Payroll Officer - 3 days per week Mercy College is a Catholic Secondary College for young women conducted in the Mercy tradition with justice, compassion, hospitality and excellence underpinning all we do. We are seeking a part time Finance Payroll Officer commencing 27 January 2023.

<p>Mercy College is a Catholic Secondary College for young women conducted in the Mercy tradition with justice, compassion, hospitality and excellence underpinning all we do.</p><p>We are seeking a part time Finance Payroll Officer commencing 27 January 2023.<br /></p><p>Your new role: </p><p>• Accurate, timely and efficient payroll services for 80 staff </p><p>• Processing timesheets and leave applications in accordance with current VCEME Award and payroll procedures </p><p>• Resolving enquiries, assisting in identifying payroll errors and implementing corrective action where required to ensure employee payments are processed accurately and database integrity is maintained </p><p>• Contributing and demonstrating support for process improvement strategies </p><p>• Assist with Debtor and Creditor management, general ledger reconciliations and financial reporting </p><p>• About you: </p><p>• 3-5 years’ experience in end-to-end payroll processing </p><p>• Appropriate business degree </p><p>• Sound numeracy skills, attention to detail and accuracy </p><p>• Proven ability to communicate, both orally and in writing, in a clear and concise manner </p><p>• Intermediate computer skills and competency with Microsoft Office </p><p>• Experience working within a small administrative team environment </p><p>• Experience in the Catholic education sector and ICON/Synergetic systems is desirable </p><p>Appointees are expected to show understanding of and commitment to the Catholic ethos of the College.
