<p><b>Saint Mary's Catholic College</b> is a <b>Prep to Year 12</b> College offering families a co-educational pathway to life-long learning. The College has been proudly serving the families of the South Burnett region since 1990, following the amalgamation of the St Mary's Parish Primary and Secondary Schools. </p><p><b>What's in it for you?</b> Saint Mary's Catholic College, Kingaroy is one of five (5) schools in the Brisbane Archdiocese in a rural location and attracts additional financial and employment benefits according to the <a href="https://www.bne.catholic.edu.au/bce-employment/teaching/Pages/Remote-Area-Incentive-Scheme.aspx" rel="nofollow">Remote Area Incentive Scheme (RAIS)</a>. Through the Remote Area Incentive Scheme, teachers will embark upon an educational ministry of teaching in a rural school to make a positive impact in rural communities through committee and continuing service.
</p><p><br /></p><p>We are seeking a Teacher Aide to undertake a range of tasks in supporting the needs of students, under the direction of the teacher, in our Primary and Secondary classrooms.
</p><p>Typical duties include:
</p><p>• General classroom support in specials areas such as the Workshop and Food Technology, and
</p><p>• Using technology to support learning activities.
</p><p>Ideally you will have:
</p><p>• Previous experience as a Teacher Aide and/or hold a minimum a Cert 3 in Educational Support,
</p><p>• Proven communication and interpersonal skills,
</p><p>• An understanding of the work of a P-12 College and a willingness to work as part of a team, and
</p><p>• You will also demonstrate an ability and initiative to apply your skills in supporting students to achieve successful learning outcomes.

</p><p>To be eligible to be considered for this role you will:
</p><p>hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement;
</p><p>be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment; and
</p><p>have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education.
