Exciting opportunity to join our friendly and supportive Pre-school team. Part-time role, working two days per week. Commencing Term 1, 2023.

<p>Cranbrook School is seeking an experienced and energetic early childhood Teacher to join our dynamic Pre-school team, commencing Term 1, 2023. </p><p><b>ABOUT THE POSITION </b></p><p>The position will be based at St Michael’s at Vaucluse on a part-time (0.4 FTE) basis working on Thursdays and Fridays. </p><p>The Pre-School Teacher is responsible for developing and delivering the highest quality educational experience for all children attending the Pre-school. </p><p>Cranbrook School teachers enjoy a stimulating work environment as part of a team of talented professionals, excellent opportunities for professional development, and attractive remuneration and benefits. </p><p><b>ABOUT YOU </b></p><p>You are a progressive, globally minded, enthusiastic and dedicated educator, with the ability to inspire students aged between three and five years old in their love of learning and in the pursuit of excellence. </p><p>Capable of working collaboratively within a team to plan and deliver high quality teaching and learning programmes, and possessing an exemplary understanding of best practice, you sustain a deep commitment to implement rigorous, highly differentiated programmes in a pre-school setting. </p><p>You are an excellent communicator, creative, and able to work well with students, parents and other teachers. You are committed to continual professional development and reflection, and have a genuine interest in the growth of young people. </p><p><b>SELECTION CRITERIA </b></p><p>— A recognised Early Childhood Teaching degree or similar as approved by the Australian Children’s Education and Quality Authority (ACECQA) </p><p>— NESA accreditation to teach in New South Wales </p><p>— A proven passion for the arts demonstrated through teaching experience or as an artist </p><p>— Demonstrated and perceptive understanding of the role of evidence in informing teaching and learning </p><p>— Experience in digital documentation and journals </p><p>— Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills </p><p>— Strong understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law, the Education and Care Services National Regulations, National Quality Framework, and the Early Years Learning Framework </p><p>— Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications </p><p>— A firm commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. </p><p>Experience with the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme would be advantageous. </p><p>CLOSING DATE: Monday 5 December 2022 </p><p><b>HOW TO APPLY </b></p><p>Applications should include a resume and a cover letter addressing the selection criteria and reasons for your interest in the position.
