<p>The College is seeking a qualified, dynamic Learning Support Teacher.  It is a full time/ ongoing position. </p><p>The successful applicant will be a highly effective teacher who demonstrates the following:</p><ul><li>Passion for teaching in a Catholic environment</li><li>Qualifications and/or experience in a teaching area. </li><li>Qualifications and/or experience in Special Education - Learning Support </li><li>The ability to work collaboratively with the Diverse Learning Team within an inclusive education model of service delivery</li><li>Ability to liaise with parents, school staff, and outside agencies to support individual students with specific learning needs</li><li>The ability to develop, implement, monitor, and evaluate high quality individualized educational programs, inclusive of adjustments</li><li>The ability to provide leadership/guidance around differentiation of the curriculum including assessment tasks to meet the diverse learning needs of students<br /></li><li>An ability to oversee aspects of the data collection for NCCD</li><li>An understanding of the Disability Standards for Educators (2005) and the Sydney Catholic Schools compliance requirements for schools<br /></li><li>An understanding of NESA requirements for Disability Provisions and Life Skills Outcomes</li><li>An understanding of and an ability to support the Catholic life of the College.<br /></li></ul><p><br /></p><p><br /></p>
