We are always on the lookout for top talent to help us achieve our strategic goal of inspiring the future, through quality catholic schooling and by strengthening the professional lives of our employees.</p> <p dir="ltr"><strong>About the opportunity:</strong></p> <p dir="ltr">Emmaus Catholic College is inviting applications from experienced Religious Education/HSIE teachers</p> <p dir="ltr">Full time permanent position commencing Term 1, 2023.&nbsp;</p> <p dir="ltr"><strong>You Will:&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Have experience in teaching Religious Education studies and GSIE</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Ability to teach Stage 6 Studies of Religion (desired)&nbsp;</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Have an understanding of how to differentiate learning to cater for students needs in order to maximise student learning</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Operate effectively at all stages of the teaching and learning cycle, including planning for learning and assessment, developing learning programs, teaching, assessing, providing feedback on student learning</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Design engaging lessons for students with a wide range of learning styles&nbsp;</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Sound understanding of the learning environments, lesson plans, use of technology, teaching practices and delivery of assessment and learning feedback.</p> </li> </ul> <p dir="ltr"><strong>About you:</strong></p> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Tertiary Qualification in Education</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Statements of Service</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Working with Children Check clearance</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills and a natural aptitude and drive to work with and within a collaborative team environment</p> </li> </ul> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Sound knowledge of and commitment to our Catholic faith and mission in Catholic education</p> </li> </ul> <p dir="ltr"><strong>Applications should include: a cover letter addressing the position criteria, qualification transcripts, professional experience reports (if applicable) and names of three professional referees.</strong></p> <p dir="ltr"><strong>Interested?</strong></p> <p dir="ltr">This position involves working with children.
