Georges River Grammar is seeking to employ a professional and confident ICT Support Officer to be an integral member of the school community.

<p><b>About the Role:</b><br /></p><p>The School is seeking to appoint an ICT Support Officer to be a member of the ICT Team, working with a sophisticated integrated system of ICT that supports a dynamic educational community. The ICT Support Officer has a key role to play in the School ensuring effective and responsive service delivery for all ICT-related services provided within the school. </p><p>Role description: https://grg.nsw.edu.au/about/working-at-grg/ </p><p><b>About you: </b></p><p>• You have demonstrated ability and experience in a range of technologies, but not limited to those skills as outlined in the role description </p><p>• ensure that all ICT devices and systems are maintained and working effectively, including provision of end user support </p><p>• support the testing and implementing of new and changed technologies </p><p>• ensure that access to school systems is managed effectively </p><p>• provide Helpdesk support to staff and students </p><p>• assist with setting up events </p><p>• show drive and initiative and have good communication and organisational skills. </p><p><b>Qualifications and Skills Required </b></p><p>Suitable qualifications and certifications in ICT are expected. Experience working in a school environment would be highly regarded but is not essential. </p><p><b>Essential </b></p><p>• Experience supporting Windows-based operating systems </p><p>• Experience with Apple OXS based operating systems </p><p>• Experience with ticket driven helpdesk systems </p><p>• Experience with Wireless network infrastructure </p><p>• A strong understanding of technology trends </p><p><b>Desirable </b></p><p>• Experience in an Educational environment </p><p>• Experience and/or training in an ICT Service Delivery Framework </p><p>• Some exposure to database and web based application administration </p><p>• Experience working with school-based Learning Management Systems e.g. Moodle </p><p><b>Role Classification </b></p><p>Salary will be discussed with the preferred applicant and will be aligned to the School’s enterprise agreement. (Independent Schools NSW (Support and Operational Staff) Multi‐Enterprise Agreement (MEA) 2021) </p><p>Hours: (usual) Monday – Friday 8.00am – 4.00pm </p><p>This role involves occasional after hours and evening duties (both remotely and onsite) for events such as parent evenings, staff professional development, systems upgrades and maintenance.
