We are looking for a teacher to fulfill the roles of Curriculum Coordinator and Data Literacy Coach at Ltyentye Apurte Catholic School (LACS). This is a remarkable school in a beautiful community.

<p>We are looking for an experienced teacher to fulfill the roles of <b>Curriculum Coordinator and Data Literacy Coach </b>- starting in 2023. </p><p>The <b>Curriculum Coordinator</b> is responsible for supporting teachers in curriculum planning, teaching, assessment and reporting. The successful candidate will work with the school Executive (Leadership Team) and school staff to monitor, facilitate and action curriculum directives, initiatives, and alignment of curriculum, assessment and reporting. </p><p>The <b>Data Literacy Coach</b> is responsible for developing teachers&#39; capacity in using a broad range of data to inform teaching practice for optimum best outcomes. The successful candidate will be experienced in data informed practice. They will coordinate data collection, storage and analysis within the school (in the area of &#39;teaching and learning&#39;). </p><p> </p><p>We would like someone to start at the beginning of <u>Term 1, 2023</u>.<br /></p><p>This is a fantastic opportunity to experience work and life in an award winning remote Aboriginal school and community. There are 44 staff and an enrolment of approximately 135 students. The school has small class sizes and features specialist facilities including a community library, STEM and food technology rooms. Every classroom has access to the Internet, PCs, laptops, iPads and SMARTboards (IWBs). English is the second or third language for most students at the school, and the Arrernte language &amp; culture program is a key focus of the curriculum at LACS. Teachers work as members of a team in partnership with local Aboriginal people and Arrernte Assistant Teachers.
