Contract Type: Contract Position Part Time (0.80 FTE)

We invite applications from suitably qualified diverse learning teachers who have an enthusiasm and love of teaching along with a well-developed capacity to support our community in maximising learning outcomes for all students. You will be working with a with a dynamic team of educators and Learning Support Officers to ensure the best possible outcomes for students with additional needs.
<p>Diverse Learning Teacher will continue the well established and well structured programs currently in operation at St Aloysius. </p><p>An understanding of the following is necessary:</p><p>Capacity to work collaboratively as part of the Diverse Learning Needs team, as well as in partnership with staff and external agencies through a case management approach. </p><p>An understanding and working knowledge of the Disability Discrimination Act (1992) and Disability Standards for Education (2005). </p><p>Experience in identifying students with specific learning needs and designing adjustments to learning. </p><p>Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as a member of a professional learning community. </p><p>Experience in the development of Personalised Plans and ability to facilitate processes for the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD). </p><p>A knowledge of and commitment to the mission of the Catholic School.</p><p><br /></p>
