School leaders within the Diocese of Parramatta are responsible to the Principal and share in leading the learning and teaching within the school. They are responsible for leading and supporting the delivery of high quality personalised learning and teaching embedded in the Catholic worldview. This work is a collaborative ministry of witness and service as part of the evangelising mission of the Church.

In this role, you are responsible for leading and supporting the delivery of high quality personalised learning and teaching embedded in the Catholic worldview.&nbsp;</p> <p dir="ltr"><strong>More specifically you will:&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Contributing to the delivery of the system strategic intent and learning agenda within the local school context.&nbsp;</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Exercising Catholic leadership and fostering the faith formation of students and staff.</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Leading the implementation of the learning framework, agreed pedagogical practice and school action plan with a focus on literacy and numeracy skills.</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Coaching teachers and modelling agreed practice to support students at the point of need using data and research-informed practice in literacy and numeracy.</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Enabling teachers to transfer intervention strategies to the local context.</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Supporting teachers in the use of assessment and developing differentiated and personalised learning opportunities.</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Analysing and using data to assist other leaders and teachers in understanding student and teacher learning needs.</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Informing the professional learning and capacity building program of the school.</p> </li> </ul> <p dir="ltr"><strong>About you:</strong></p> <p dir="ltr">To be successful in this highly rewarding role you will demonstrate alignment to the core purpose and values of St Patrick's along with:</p> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Tertiary Qualification in Education</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Statements of Service</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Working with Children Check clearance</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Expertise in Literacy and Numeracy</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Leadership experience within primary or secondary</p> </li> </ul> <p dir="ltr">Interested?</p> <p dir="ltr">This position involves working with children.
