We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced teacher to the position of Community Service Coordinator in a replacement part-tine position for 2023 School Year.

This is a (0.50) FTE part-time replacement position for the 2023 School Year commencing on 27 January 2023 until 15 December 2023 located at our Secondary School in Burwood. </p><p>The Community Service Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of the Year 9 Experience program. The successful candidate will have an appreciation and understanding of the Year 7- 10 curriculum and will engage with community organisations to arrange learning and volunteer experiences. These experiences provide students with the opportunity to engage in educational and social experiences outside the classroom that enhances their learning with a particular focus on the Year 9 Community. </p><p>Applicants must have the following; </p><ul><li>Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) Registration </li><li>A knowledge and appreciation of Jewish Culture and the connection between community service and culture </li><li>a sound understanding of Child Safeguarding Standards and a commitment to the safety and wellbeing of children </li><li>be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (three vaccinations) or have an appropriate medical exemption </li></ul><p>To view the Position Description, please see attached document below.
