St Luke's is seeking a Student Futures Leader to join our team. This is a permanent/full-time role to commence Term 1 2023 or earlier if possible. This role attracts a 2 point paid allowance.

As a ‘next generation Catholic Learning Community’ we are designing and establishing the ‘new normal’ for preschool to post school learning in an environment characterised by a flexible, stage based curriculum which nurtures and grows faith-filled, curious children to become creative contributors and innovative problem solvers for a changing world. In 2023, we will enrol over 1600 students from Kindergarten to Year 12 in addition to the 77 place long day centre which commenced in February, 2018.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p dir="ltr"><span style="color: #0000ff"><strong>Role Accountabilities&nbsp;</strong></span></p> <p dir="ltr">The School of Entrepreneurs at St Luke’s comprises of 14 to 18 year olds in Stages 5 &amp; 6 (Years 9 to 12). It is the culmination of learning at St Luke’s where faith filled students leave prepared for life happiness and vocational success. Utilizing the resources of the local and global community established through relevant and meaningful partnerships, the learning potential of each student is realised. As competent and self-directed learners, students undertake various approaches including flipped learning, all of which support ‘self paced learning’ facilitated by expert teachers.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p dir="ltr">To inspire a more peaceful world, we understand that lives have more meaning through the purposeful engagement of one’s interests. As these interests become passions, we understand the influence of each person to motivate others through exhibiting great skill, limitless imagination and unbridled creativity. Drawing on their deep understanding of ‘who I am’ developed as part of the Life Design Program, each student is provided both time and space (physical and virtual) to engage with their passions and master skills to support a life of happiness, relevance and meaning. We empower our students with the understanding that when they actively engage their passions, they acquire the ability to shape the world in a positive manner.&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p dir="ltr">Students in the School of Entrepreneurs engage with external partners to provide choice in their learning, to offer alternative credentials as well as the HSC and to leave school with a portfolio showcasing the best of what they do and what problems they can solve. Students in years 9-12 participate in VET Courses as early as year 9, microcredentials and dual credentials such as Diplomas and engage in external partnerships through TAFE, School of Now and School of Languages.&nbsp; As part of a reimagined learning pathway from years 9-12, we seek a Student Futures Leader to work with the Head of School and Principal to design and maintain a contemporary framework for post school education.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p dir="ltr">With an ability to guide and coach both leaders and teachers, the Student Futures Leader:</p> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Gives witness to the Catholic faith and exemplifies gospel values in their leadership and professional relationships.</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Contributes to the delivery of the system strategic intent within the local school context.</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Designs, establishes and leads the implementation of a contemporary post schools’ framework.&nbsp;</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Identifies and coordinates internal and external stakeholders, support services and agencies to respond to the complex needs of students and families.</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Uses data to support evidence-based practice.</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Fosters a culture of collaboration and shared responsibility across the school.</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Ensures tracking, reporting and compliance of assigned areas of responsibility&nbsp;</p> </li> <li dir="ltr"
