St Luke's is seeking an Extension and Enrichment Leader to join the team. This position is Permanent/full-time role to commence in Term 4, 2022, or Term 1 2023 by negotiation.
This role attracts a 2 point paid allowance.

<p dir="ltr"><span style="color: #0000ff"><strong>The School </strong></span></p>
<p dir="ltr">Having commenced in 2017 with 86 students across Kindergarten to Year 6, St Luke’s at Marsden Park is a next generation learning community within the Catholic Education Diocese of Parramatta (CEDP). As a ‘next generation Catholic Learning Community’ we are designing and establishing the ‘new normal’ for preschool to post school learning in an environment characterised by a flexible, stage based curriculum which nurtures and grows faith-filled, curious children to become creative contributors and innovative problem solvers for a changing world. In 2023, we will enrol over 1600 students from Kindergarten to Year 12 in addition to the 77 place long day centre which commenced in February, 2018.</p>

<p dir="ltr"><span style="color: #0000ff"><strong>Role Accountabilities </strong></span></p>
<p dir="ltr">As part of designing and establishing the new normal for preschool to post school, the Extension and Enrichment Leader (K-12) liaises with the Principal and other K-12 Leaders to establish a team of specialists who understand that all students can learn, and, given the appropriate assistance, all teachers can meet, extend and enrich the learning of students. </p>

<p dir="ltr">The Extension and Enrichment Leader (K-12) actively supports the Leadership Team to promote excellence within the St Luke’s Catholic learning community. With relevant qualifications and experience in a school setting, the Extension and Enrichment Leader (K-12) will have proven skills in written and oral communication to assist with building relationships with all stakeholders. With an ability to guide and coach both leaders and teachers, the Extension and Enrichment Leader (K-12):</p>

<p dir="ltr">Uses data to support evidence-based practice.</p>

<p dir="ltr">Provide 1:1 professional development for teachers</p>

<p dir="ltr">Collegially work with teachers to facilitate and build teacher capacity in the provision of extension and enrichment learning opportunities for students</p>

<li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc">
<p dir="ltr">Support teachers to design, implement and evaluate programs, incorporating differentiated curriculum design, accelerative practices and providing suitable challenge, inquiry and extension. </p>

<p dir="ltr">Liaise with school counsellors and develop and maintain whole school processes to cater for the social and emotional needs of gifted students</p>
</li>
<li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc">
